German overclocker, CENS, has achieved the 3DMark Port Royal world record using the Colorful iGame GeForce RTX 4090 LAB graphics card.

German Overclocker Posts 3DMark Port Royal World Record Using A Colorful GeForce RTX 4090 GPU With Single 16-Pin Connector

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 remains the king of the hill within the 3DMark Port Royal graphics benchmark but it is more important to know which specific model holds the top spot. So far, the GALAX GeForce RTX 4090 HOF OC LAB has been the fastest card on the Port Royal Hall of Fame & scored an absolute behemoth 31,622 points when Swedish overclocker, Rauf, pushed his card to 3585 MHz on LN2.

But Rauf’s reign on the 3DMark Port Royal Hall of Fame has come to an end as CENS has now achieved a much higher score. The overclocker once again used LN2 to cool the GPU & Colorful’s iGame GeForce RTX 4090 LAB was the custom model of choice. One thing to note is that the RTX 4090 HOF from GALAX was overclocked with two 16-pin connectors attached to it which can push up to 1200W of power to the card whereas the Colorful iGame LAB OC used just a single 12VHPWR connector.

Frequencies as high as 3720 MHz were achieved and while it wasn’t nearly as high as the 3.8 GHz+ achieved on the GALAX HOF OC variant, these frequencies were specifically achieved in the 3DMark benchmark. The final performance was measured with a 3630 MHz GPU & 1594 Memory overclock which pushed the final score to 32,227 points, an increase of 2% over the GALAX HOF LAB variant.

This is a very impressive performance showcased by CENS on the custom Colorful iGame GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card. Running it off just one 16-pin connector shows that even under extreme LN2 OC conditions, the Ada Lovelace architecture can be very efficient. We can’t wait to see what next benchmarking feats will be shared by extreme overclockers such as CENS in the future.
